The 45-year-old Coventry, R.I., native was killed Tuesday, March 30, 2004, in Somara, Iraq, after the military vehicle he was riding in rolled over, the Defense Department said. He was assigned to the Army’s 10th Special Forces Group based in Fort Carson, Colo. The incident is under investigation.
